On March 11th 2017, the governor of Guangzhou, Ma Xinrui, and the vice governor Yuan Baocheng visited and investigated the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity High-Speed Rail EUHT project during the break of NPC&CPPCC, and discussed the technical details of EUHT with chairman of Nufront, Bao Dongshan.
